According to media reports 1 billion pieces of ten rupees notes has already been printed by the apex bank.now its time to get a new makeover of ten rupees note. according to media reports RBI reserve bank of india is all set to release its new ten rupees note although its last design was printed in 2005. this new print designed under the mahatma gandhi series with the chocolate colour as the base. in august 2017 rupees 50 and 200 note were also introduced in the mahatma gandhi series.

The new design will share some salient features with the other new notes and will have a unique picture on its reverse side

salient features of the newly issued notes include the denominational number in Devnagiri, colour changing window security threads and a colour changing denominational numeral, with a rupee symbol on the bottom right.
